The following is a brief description of basic certification requirements and our Police K-9 course outline. We have a detailed syllabus that will be provided to each Police K-9 handler at the start of our course. Classes are held for six weeks, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. Some overnight training exercises will be required.

Week 1 Day One - Meeting with trainers, handlers and dogs Day Two - Learning handling skills for narcotics and obedience Day Three - Beginning tracking, continue obedience, narcotics boxes with dogs
